I have been creating as long as I can remember: drawing and sculpting. Growing up with a mechanic for a father, I grew to be comfortable with tools. Jewellery seemed a natural progression for my artistic abilities and mechanical acumen. My academic pursuit of jewellery began with a Gemmology certificate and an Advanced Diploma in Jewellery Arts from
George Brown College. I won many awards, including a one-year scholarship for an artist residency at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre. My
work has been included in exhibitions in Toronto, and displayed across
Canada and the U.S.
I am a big fan of the T.V. show Doctor Who (and Torchwood, too), and I couldn’t help but combine my passion of goldsmithing with my love for the show. Thus, my Whovian collection was born! I also enjoy playing NES (Nintentdo), SNES (Super Nintendo), and N64, so expect to see more of these pieces in the near future.
